The domain names:

now all take you directly to the Construction Ergonomics wiki.
Brand and Identity!
A few colleagues not involved in the development of the wiki have stated that the ORC banner confused them and it took some time to explain fully that the site is intended to be open source. A couple thought that ORC owned the intellectual property. This will need to be addressed prior to our public launch. Does it have to be resolved prior to the "private beta" evaluation and the beta evaluation? Please comment.
Please refer to Home
for information about the space.
Private Beta Evaluation!
Let me know if you would like to be involved in designing the evaluation methodology. Contact me at marcinoregon@gmail.com or just register and comment.
Send Your Material!
We can post new material for the private beta evaluation. Just send me what you would like us to post.
Wiki is accessible without log-in!
The Construction Ergonomics wiki is now availalbe without the need to provide log-on credentials. This lowers one barrier to encouraging casusal viewers to provide feedback to the development team
New Material Needed
For those who have been tracking our progress in uploading material on the wiki, you will have noticed that our progress has slowed considerably over the past day. The reasson for this is that we are reaching the end of the resources we have on Construction Ergonomics. We anticipate substantial additions to the Prevention-through-design page in the Construction Ergonoics section. Also, considerable additions will be made to the page "External websites." If you have something you would like us to upload, please send the material to marcinoregon@gmail.com
and let us know how you would like the material distributed.
Private beta launched now scheduled for July
After consulting with various parties, we have decided to delay the "private beta" launch until we have identified our target audience(s) and the best way to create a panel of expert informants who can provide feedback on the the wiki's development. To elicit feedback, we will asked invited individuals to complete a survey (with open and closed) questions on surveymonkey.com.
That's all for now,
MW
