Task

Standing and walking.

Exposure

Much of construction finds workers on their feet for long periods of time on hard and sometimes rough and uneven surfaces, introducing contact stress and fatigue to feet, legs and lower back.

Intervention

Anti-fatigue inner soles provide cushioning and reduce contact stress to feet and fatigue to legs and lower back. There is also a need to educate workers on the life expectancy of inner soles, which is 3- 6 months. This requires regular replacement.

Material
