Half-size pallets for Concrete Masonry Units (CMU) and other materials are easier to handle, and are set on scaffolding using lifts. This allows less material handling by workers, a known risk for strains and sprains. Also the use of half-size pallets may create greater efficiency since materials are more readily available to workers.
